Speak Up, a national online research project facilitated by Project TomorrowSM, gives individuals the opportunity to share their viewpoints about key educational issues. Each year, findings are summarized and shared with national and state policy makers. Parents, students, teachers, and administrators are encouraged to take the survey (click here) at their convenience. Speak Up 2008 will be open through December 19, 2008.

The Chilton High School Fall Athletic Awards Night will be held on Monday, Nov. 3 at 7:00 PM. The awards ceremony will take place in the Engler Center for the Performing Arts. Letter winners will be recognized for the following fall sports: Boys and Girls Cross Country, Football, Football Cheerleading, Girls Swimming, Girls Tennis and Volleyball.

At the Finance Committee held on July 23, 2008, the Business Manager presented an educational piece on Revenue Limits. It is scheduled for the presentation to be given to the Board of Education on August 25, 2008 and again preceeding the Annual Meeting scheduled for September 15, 2008. All Chilton School District Residents, 65 or older, may obtain their free Golden-Ager pass from the high school office at their convenience any time after August 4. Those who obtained a pass in previous years need not apply for another pass unless they wish a replacement.
Golden-Ager passes entitle the holder to free admission to all Chilton School activities with the exception of WIAA tournaments. Activities included are all home football games, wrestling meets, plays, musicals, assembly programs and concerts.

The Wisconsin Student Immunization law was recently changed.Two different vaccine requirements were added which may affect your child's compliance with the law.The change will go in effect this fall with the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year.Parents are required to have their children vaccinated or claim a waiver on the student immunization record.
