2020-21 Family Letter #1 - Fall

First published on 23 July 2020 Posted in District News

Good Afternoon Chilton Families,

I hope your family has had an enjoyable Summer. Over the past months, we have been working to create a plan for our students to return to their learning in Fall. While planning we used the information received from the survey you completed in June, guidelines from the Department of Public Instruction, Center for Disease Control as well as Local and State Health Departments. It is through the use of this information that we have created our initial Return to Learning Plan. The overview of the plan is attached to this email and additional information will be sent out as we continue to monitor the status of the pandemic.

We are looking forward to our students returning, 5 days a week, to learning in Fall. There will be a number of measures put in place to help mitigate the spread of the virus. These measures include but are not limited to: social distancing, frequent hand washing and sanitizing, daily temperature checks for students, increased sanitation and cleaning, highly recommend face coverings, frequent hand washing and sanitation, removal of soft surfaces, training students on correct hand washing and sanitation as well as limiting access to school buildings.

Parents know their child best and will have the opportunity to choose what model of learning their children will engage in 5 days a week. We will be providing both an in-person and virtual option for the 2020/2021 School Year. Attached to this email is the overview of those options along with the initial plan. To help us make informed decisions moving forward, please take a moment to complete the survey.

If you are a parent of a child who attends Chilton Public Schools and did not receive the email please send an updated email to to receive the link.

Thank you for you continued support and flexibility as we plan for our students to return. We know this plan will continue to change and we will keep you informed of any updates.

Together we will create the very best educational experience for our students.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out with any additional questions, concerns or comments.

Take Care and have GREAT afternoon.

2020 CHS Football Clothing Order

First published on 03 July 2020 Posted in CHS Athletics

Message from Coach Arendt:

I wanted to give everyone who is interested in an opportunity to purchase football apparel for the upcoming season.  Normally we would have had a sign-up in the office to give us an idea of what students are interested in playing and would contact those individuals and families, but due to our current situation with the COVID-19 Pandemic, we feel that this is the best way to get this information out to our families who are interested.  We are currently working on a timeline for the football season and more information will be coming out soon on dates and times as the state and the WIAA work together on rules and regulations for the next season, so please do not panic if you feel that you are not getting any information on this.  The link below is what you will use to get to the clothing options.
