2019-12-06 Second Annual CHS Mental Health Awareness Night

Information
First published on 04 December 2019 Posted in CHS News & Press Releases

On behalf of CHS's Suicide Prevention Committee, you are formally invited to attend our second annual Mental Health Awareness Night this Friday evening at CHS!  Please considering joining us not only to cheer on the boys basketball teams as they take on Two Rivers, but to show your support for mental health awareness in our community and to help raise funds for Suicide Prevention Committee's future efforts.  There will be a brat fry, Stomp out Stigma merchandise for sale, a raffle for a Dairy Queen ice cream cake, and a t-shirt giveaway.  Plus, at halftime of the varsity game, we'll be holding a pinata-smashing contest between Mrs. Kelly Moehn, a business and computer science teacher, and Deputy Matt Eberhardt, our district school resource officer.

Also, thanks to New Hope Center, anyone interested in Stomp out Stigma apparel can now visit our convenient online store (https://madebymetshirts.org/stomp_out_stigma/shop/home).  Please consider ordering a t-shirt, sweatshirt, or sweatpants to join Suicide Prevention Committee in spreading the message that there is no shame in talking about mental health and especially in asking for help!  The store will close Sunday, December 15.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Zach Platner, Suicide Prevention Committee co-adviser, at platnerz@chilton.k12.wi.us or (920)849-2358, ext. 4363.

Thank you!
